This was a fantastic opportunity to raise some funds for the Community Rescue Service whose members donate so much of their time (amongst many other things) to help locate vulnerable people in our community. 24 climbers took part and 24 made it to the summit and made it safely down again.

Ben Nevis rises 1345 meters above sea level and once at the summit you are standing on the highest point for 459 miles! Climbing this mountain starts practically from sea level so you are gaining and ascending 1345 meters.
